Lynne Tapper

Lynne Tapper, co-author of BABY DAZE™, is a working mother, amateur marathon runner, tri-athlete and a professional organizer. 

The arrival of Lynne’s daughter Sofie in 2001 gave birth to another labor of love—BABY DAZE: AN ORGANIZER FOR TRACKING YOUR BABY'S FIRST FEW MONTHS.  Co-authored by Lynne and her husband Leland Brandt, BABY DAZE is the perfect tool for expecting parents.  Based on their experience as new parents, Lynne and Leland designed an easy-to-use logbook to keep track of all the details that crop up during the first few months with a new baby.

Lynne’s love affair with orderliness began at childhood, when Lynne labeled everything in her room, from files to dolls.  Today, armed with her Brother P-Touch labeler, Lynne is still avidly organizing her life, from creating a binder for all those take-out menus (filed by cuisine, of course) to alphabetizing the compact disc collection.  Another passion in Lynne’s life is fitness, and after monitoring and tracking her exercise progress for three months postpartum, Lynne was able to realize her goal of completing a sprint triathlon.  While Sofie has yet to join Lynne for her morning runs, the two of them stretch together every day.

Lynne has worked in the television and Internet divisions of ESPN, ABC and Oxygen Media’s sports departments and is now promoting BABY DAZE full-time.  Leland, Lynne and Sofie reside in West Hartford, CT.
