Winters, Kathleen
A licensed pilot in airplanes and gliders and a former flight instructor, Kathleen Winters is the author of ANNE MORROW LINDBERGH: FIRST LADY OF THE AIR and the forthcoming biography titled AMELIA EARHART: THE TURBULENT LIFE OFAN AMERICAN ICON.  She also writes articles for various aviation magazines.  
ANNE MORROW LINDBERGH portrays Lindbergh's early years, an untold story of adventure and groundbreaking accomplishments in a brave, brief era of aviation. Drawing on the Lindberghs, original flight logbooks and other new sources, Kathleen chronicles this exciting tale in her acclaimed book, available in hardcover and paperback editions.
AMELIA EARHART will be released in November 2010.  Earhart is as famous today as on the day she disappeared over the Pacific Ocean during a circumnavigating flight attempt in 1937 that continues to spark controversy and conspiracy theories. This book offers fresh insight into her legend and life of contradictions.
Kathleen lives with her family on the bluffs of the Mississippi River in Minnesota.
